Join us in the Black Sheep pub on the recently pedestrianised Capel street for a chat about Lego, the universe and everything. We might raid some local toy shops afterwards.
Our next monthly meeting is scheduled for Saturday 21 May from 1pm in Black Sheep pub Capel Street. Hope to see everyone there.
As summer officially starts (it make take a few weeks for the weather to catch up) the brick.ie team are busy creating the models you will see at Brick Féile this 16 and 17 July. Our international line up is also taking shape with exhibitors from the UK, Netherlands, Denmark and Portugal already confirmed and that is in addition to the mosaic challenge team from our charity partner Fairy Bricks. If any Irish AFOLs have interesting builds they think might be a great addition for the event please reach out to us.
In the meantime tickets remain available at https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/brick-feile-tickets-258568504357 but please be aware that some of the family ticket slots are very likely to sell out before the event.
If you can't wait until July for your LEGO fix, some of our Northern Ireland members have been trying some new layouts at various model railway shows.
Our March monthly meeting will take place on 26 March 2022. Assuming COVID rules do not change it is likely that we will resume in-person meetings at the Black Sheep Pub in Capel Street for this meeting. We aim to be there from about 2-ish and typically we finish about 4.30 and then have a browse in the local toystores (Smyths and Toymaster in Jervis Street). We talk about LEGO and lots of non-LEGO stuff over a bite to eat.
Our monthly meeting in February will be a virtual one via TEAMS. It is scheduled for Saturday 19th at 2pm - about 4.30pm. All members welcome. We chat about LEGO and anything else of interest really.
Joining details are posted in the forum a few days in advance.
Dear brick.ie member
This is just a short note to advise that our flagship LEGO event Brick Féile returns to Citynorth hotel near Dublin airport on 16 and 17 July 2022, in aid of the charity Fairy Bricks which donates thousands of LEGO sets to Irish hospitals each year. In addition to featuring more Irish and international LEGO builders than ever before, we will welcome back the Fairy Bricks mosaic building challenge and Ireland's largest brick pits. If you were not at our previous Brick Féile event you can check out what it is like on our brick féile Facebook page.

Exhibitor sign-up information will be announced in the coming weeks.
Welcome to 2022
For those who missed it we managed to participate in a Jack and Jill fundraiser event last November. It was great to display some of our models in the brick again and we really enjoyed live building the LEGO Titanic set which we then dropped up to RTE for the LATE LATE Toy Show.
We continue to host monthly zoom calls for members. Check the forum for details. We are also delighted to confirm that Ireland's premier event for LEGO fans returns on 16 and 17 July to the CityNorth Hotel near Dublin airport. We look forward to seeing what our Irish and international builders have been up to and to the return of Fairy Bricks mosaic building to Ireland. For anyone needing a reminder of what our exhibitions are about, we were fortunate enough to be featured on Ireland AM for International LEGO Day on the 28 January where we had some some models live in the studio.
There will be a charity fundraiser for Jack and Jill on Sunday 21 November in Clane, Co. Kildare. This is being organised predominantly by the event organisers Shamrock Bricks. Some brick.ie members will be there with their models.
Our next monthly meeting is scheduled for Saturday 21 August between 2 and 4pm. Joining details will be posted in the forum.
Our next monthly meeting for members (via Zoom) is scheduled for Saturday 20 March. We usually kick off at 2pm and information on how to access the meeting is in the forum.
