Dear Member
Ireland's premier show for Irish LEGO® fans, Brick Féile is coming to CityNorth Hotel this 13 and 14 July. It is organised by brick.ie and on display will be some of the most fantastic LEGO® creations ever assembled at an Irish event. The event is in support of the charity Fairy Bricks which last year donated and delivered over £40,000 of LEGO® sets to Irish hospitals with further deliveries planned this autumn.
As it is brick.ie's 10th anniversary, we have plenty of surprises in store at Brick Féile including international model builders. All our Irish and international master-builders will be on hand to chat with you and divulge their latest tips and techniques.
We know everyone likes to get their hands on bricks. At Brick Féile we will have Ireland's largest brick pits where the little ones (and maybe the bigger children) can get stuck into our play areas to show off their building skills including an amazing Duplo® brick pit.
Brick Féile, Ireland's premier event for LEGO fans of all ages is getting closer by the week. To avoid disappointment, prospective visitors should note this is an all-ticket event and that tickets are only available here https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/brick-feile-tickets-56668773828 . Furthermore, the quantity of discounted family tickets is limited.
Children age 2 and under are free.
It mightn't seem like summer, but our busy season for events is fast approaching. While all roads lead to our massive www.brickfeile.ie event this 13 and 14 July, next up on the list is our free Naas Library event on 18 May where we expect to have up to 20 members exhibiting. This comes quickly after our very enjoyable and busy Coolest Projects event at the RDS last weekend.
On Father's Day this June we will once again be attending the popular Kildare County Show in Athy, Co. Kildare with our brick pit and fantastic models.
In the meantime planning for brick féile continues. We continue to add very exciting overseas models to the event line up while behind the scenes our own members are creating some amazing new models to premier at brick féile.
The brick.ie team return to Blackrock College with their latest creations.
Our popular Naas Library event returns this May to showcase some of our latest creations and whet the appetite for Brick Féile in July. In addition to a selection of fantastic models we'll have our brick pit for the little ones to get creative.
Its been a very exciting past few weeks at brick.ie. Hot on the heels of a very successful Birr library event in January, we've been working behind the scenes planning our 10th anniversary event 'Brick Féile' on 13 and 14 July at the CityNorth Hotel, only 15 minutes up the M1 from Dublin Airport.
Brick Féile will be very special to celebrate our 10th anniversary. It will be our largest ever event with our biggest layouts all able to fit under one roof. Not only will brick.ie members be bringing their fantastic LEGO models but we'll have many international model builders with their own creations to share with us for the first time in Ireland.

Perhaps best of all we are excited to be bringing the world record breaking FairyBricks LEGO mosaic team over to Ireland also for the first time to allow our visitors sample that fantastic building experience.

Of course, we know everyone likes to get their hands on bricks.
As 2018 comes to a close, we can reflect on our busiest year ever with a very successful first event in Blessington Library before Christmas which we hope will become a regular event in our calendar. We were also delighted with the turnout for our annual member's family day held in Naas, a week later. It was great to see so many of our members and their families enjoying themselves at our largest meetup of the year with lots of competitions, building and chat.
There will be no time for LEGO cobwebs. 2019 starts as a hectic 2018 ends with an exhibition already lined up for Saturday 26 January at Birr Library, our first display of the new year. Why not check out what our members have been up to over the Christmas break?
Wishing all our members and visitors every good wish for 2019.
The 2019 Kildare County Show returns this coming Fathers' Day to Athy Co. Kildare. This is traditionally one of our largest exhibitions of the year with an entire sports hall full of LEGO creations by the brick.ie team.
Our March Dublin meeting is scheduled as usual for the 3rd Saturday of the month at the Blacksheep Pub. All members and new joiners welcome for a meet up over a bite to eat. We start arriving from 1-2pm-ish.
