Its that time of year when we start to look forward to some well-deserved rest. For AFOLs it will soon be a time of much shopping and building in anticipation of 2025 events.
Before we look to 2025, its worth recalling how busy we've been over the past few months.
Kicking it off in September after a post-Brick Féile break, brick.ie returned to the library events we did pre-Covid with Blessington library being the venue once again for our builds and a brick pit. Some of our members then undertook their annual pilgrimage to Skaerbaek and Billund in Denmark, the home of LEGO, at the end of that month before visiting the Steam railway museum in Swindon the following weekend for Brickish's flagship event.
Our November meeting is scheduled for 11.30am in Neary's Pub near the Grafton St LEGO store. All members welcome.
The September monthly meeting is scheduled for Saturday the 19th. From 11:30 to about 2-ish we'll be in Neary's, around the corner from the LEGO Store on Grafton Street that some of us will likely visit at some point.
The September monthly meeting is scheduled for Saturday 21st. From 11:30 to about 2-ish we'll be in Neary's, around the corner from the LEGO Store on Grafton Street that some of us will likely visit at some point.
Brick Féile returns on 19 and 20 July 2025 to CityNorth Hotel. Once again it will feature Ireland's best LEGO builders from brick.ie, international exhibitors, the Fairy Bricks mosaic challenge, a GBC and more.
The brick.ie team returns to Blessington for a small local event. We'll have some LEGO models and a brick pit.
The June monthly meeting is scheduled for Saturday 22nd. From 1 to about 4-ish we'll be in the Well Pub on St Stephen's Green. Some of us will likely visit the LEGO Store on Grafton Street at some point.
The next monthly meeting is scheduled for Saturday 18 May from 1-4 in the Well Pub on St Stephen's Green Dublin. All members (and prospective members) welcome.
It seems that summer has finally arrived but with Irish weather one can never be sure. Its a timely reminder that Brick Feile 2024, Ireland's premier event for LEGO fans, is fast approaching and we'll be on site at CityNorth Hotel in about 2 months. If you want to see what the brick.ie team has been up to this year, get stuck into our super-sized brick pits and participate in the FairyBricks mosaic build then don't miss out. Tickets are only available at https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/brick-feile-tickets-708431145627
Of course, we've been busy with other events. Our inaugural fundraising event for Taney Parish in Dublin was a great success and we hope to be back next year. Prior to that we participated at a brilliant event in Bangor, Northern Ireland.

Of course, we've been busy with other events. Our inaugural fundraising event for Taney Parish in Dublin was a great success and we hope to be back next year. Prior to that we participated at a brilliant event in Bangor, Northern Ireland. Next up is a small expedition to the popular Cork Summer Show in June where we'll have some models and a new build activity this year.
