Hello everyone this is my first post here, I built these models of the RMS Titanic and her sisters last year and they are 86 studs long and 9 Studs wide. I have built several other Lego ship models including Cunard Line's RMS Aquitania and White Star Line's SS Atlantic and I plan to build many more famous ships in the future.
History of the Ships
RMS Olympic was the lead ship of the White Star Line's Olympic class ocean liners. She had a career that lasted 24 years from 1911 to 1935 which included service as a troopship during the First World War. After the war she served successfully as an ocean liner throughout the 1920s and into the first half of the 1930s and was decommissioned and scrapped in 1935.
RMS Titanic was the second ship of the Olympic class and was the largest ship in the world when she was completed in 1912. The Titanic sank during her maiden voyage on April 15th 1912 after striking an iceberg on the 14th.

Had to take a few photos of our Mini Modular/Creator 3in1 scale Lego city before it needs to be dismantled to move house. My son and I have been working on this for the last couple of years since he got the 31105 Toy Shop for Christmas. We immediately built a street around it and it escalated quickly into a full blown city build at similar Creator scale.
We've gone from a modified Ikea Lack table, to his old train set table, to the current 3x8 baseplates on two Ikea Melltorp table set-up. We managed to squeeze in a train loop by using some 3D printed curved track pieces with a tighter turn than the official track.
Good height and depth to these tables so the plan is to add a few more in a square when it gets rebuilt.
A couple of shots of a little scene I've been tinkering with...
I need to order parts to finish it, but I've been having some fun with it. I'm tempted to make the track longer, but I don't think it will ever go around curves, so I don't see it being anything other than a display piece. The wagons are a little wider than I'd like, but I haven't managed to think of any way of making them slimmer.
Suggestions welcome!
This build is for an online challenge I joined this month, basically anything goes as long as it is on a 24x24 base.
I had picked up the Harry Potter Shrieking Shack set a while back to use the parts to create an old ramshackle cabin in the snow and decided to add a secret bunker underneath.
Model was made for Lego Ideas competition - CELEBRATING 15 YEARS OF LEGO IDEAS
Deatails: To enter, show us what LEGO Ideas means to you in brick-built form. You can create whatever you like and there is only one rule: it must include the number 15 somewhere in your model.
Started picking up these sets in the last couple of years to start a new Christmas tradition. This is our first go at a proper village with baseplates and a few other additions.
Hi,
I am building an Abrams bridge tank. I feel I am nearly there. The problem is when I extend the bridge to a certain opening the technic axle starts to buckle see picture and hence it cant extend further. The instruction of the section in question is also attached. I am only able to do this operation once but cant do it repeatedly. May I ask if there is a way to strengthen the axle so that it doesnt buckle and hence will extend smoothly. Thanks Jim
Thought I’d share my Halloween build I made for a couple of challenges on Instagram. I wanted to create a Haunted Habitat House using many parts from the Monster Fighter Haunted House. I kept the overall look of the house and created a facade for the habitat stack, being sure to line the habitat windows with he house and shape of the house with the stack.
