Seeing all the little yellow warning signs on the seats of a much-restricted Dáil made me think of building this scene. I didn't intentionally build any particular TDs but, being politicians, I think a few got themselves in the photo anyway.....

Quite a simple one today but perhaps very relatable to all the sports fans who are missing the matches.

Moving on to slightly more serious aspects , this scene is unfortunately all too common in towns and cities across the country.

This is the year when your wheelie bin gets out more than you do!

Have we all been keeping fit and getting our exercise during lockdown? Sure! (ahem!) Not....
This is not as much of an issue now that we're allowed a generous 5km but, in the early days, back garden marathons were in!

Second in the brick documentary of pandemic experiences is titled 'Working From Home', something to which many who are juggling home-work and childcare can relate!

Over the past 15 days, I've created a sort of visual documentary of some of the more prominent aspects of this pandemic, as experienced here in Ireland. The builds were, of course, created under the confines of lockdown (one build per day) as a way of putting into brick form some of my own observations and those related by others. Some are amusing, some serious, some upsetting, others hopeful.
The focus was on the emotive message, so there's no fancy brickwork or master builder techniques, just simple vignettes made from what I had on hand.

This was created for a contest hosted by InnovaLUG that asked for MOCs to touch the floor on a maximum of four studs. So I went with three, just in case
I've been wanting to do something like this for a long while and figured I'd finally give the concept a shot considering it fit the restrictions so well. Had I known what a strenuous weekend I'd have as a result of that I might have reconsidered as it turned out that every single segment was difficult to get right in its own way.
I started with the horse's head as that was going to be the standout feature, and boy, is it hard to get those creatures right!
I made in in few afternoons. Irmina is a dentist assistant so it was good opportunity to build it.
I made dental unit, wall rentgen, dental cabinet and desk with pc.
