Myself and the young lad built our first MOC on Sunday(too hot for football).
Built for a hobbit fishing village and went to bed a proud man.
Came home from work tonight and a crusty the crab burger bar had been added to the scene.
An 8 year olds imagination can't be argued with.
I am working on the cinema for the show in august. Getting forward.
Here some pics of the progress.
The front. The posters are made in with photo program.
I finally got around taking decent pictures of a building I constructed a year ago for a contest on eurobricks. I never found the time to take good photos of it so finally I can present it adequately. I'd like to show it here as you guys always asked what I was actually building. This might also be the explanation for the cheese slope running gag
It was built for Guilds of Historica where you choose a guild and build for it. Challenge 2 of GoH was about building an embassy in one of the other guilds / areas. My embassy actually won this contest.
You can find more images in my flickr album. I also included some pictures to show how I constructed the roof.
Regards from Germany! Enjoy the event next weekend and drink a glass or two on behalf of me!

Hi all,
after picking up the second bumblebeegirl and sorting 6kg of yellow bricks, i got an idea for a funny railway station. Here are some pics of the progress.
The bees allready started the work at the hive.
More comming, when i've finished the back side.
Cheers
Dusty
It's been a long time since my last steam engine but I've finally finished my latest creation, the Baureihe or Class 055 freight engine:
It's got the full set of power functions on board; rechargable battery, receiver, L-motor and lights. It sure wasn't easy to pack it all in. The wheels are the regular Lego drivers, not BBB. The coupling and connecting rods are Zephyr's custom made parts.
More pictures on Flickr.
Hi folks,
i've finished today my disco. Only tiles are missing now and Some more figures on the dancefloor.
Hi folks, sorry I've been away for a while, it's been an interesting year! Anyway, after a house move and a break from building, I've scratched the itch and started on a new layout, as always, with an extra challenge... I'm a train fan, and so yes, it's railway themed, and features 2 levels, each with 1 9v loop and 2 12v loops so I can run 6 trains. Been there, done that before I know. This time though, I'm building it across 4 separate boards that mean in theory at least it can be moved and displayed at shows etc. I say in theory, because each section will have to be tilted to get it out the door....
I've put a couple of pics on Brickshelf - http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=528346 and have set up a blog to go alongside it as a number of my friends aren't on the various Lego forums and want to keep track of it. The blog is here with more pics and detail - http://notmylego.blogspot.co.uk/.
Once it's complete and I know how mobile it is, or isn't...
