Preliminary date for April meeting - Capel Street @ 1.30pm 'ish'

The March meeting is provisionally scheduled for Saturday 31 March in Nealon's Pub in Capel Street Dublin. People start arriving from 1.30ish. As usual, keep an eye out in the forums for any updates/ changes to time/date.

The February meeting is provisonally scheduled for Saturday 18 February (3rd Sat of month as normal). This is subject to change if people find a different Saturday more convenient. Please watch the forums for any updates.

Our regular meeting takes place on the 3rd Saturday of every month.

The first meeting of 2012 is scheduled to take place on Saturday 21 January 2012 although please check the site for any updates or changes to this schedule. As usual it will be in Nealon's pub in Capel Street.

The December meeting is scheduled for 17 December 2011. As before unless otherwise advised (watch the forums) it will be in Nealon's pub in Capel street Dublin 1 and we tend to gather between 1pm and 2pm.

Sorry about the late notice, but your webmaster was struck down by a tooth abscess, and forgot all the things he was supposed to do.

The monthly meeting of Brick.ie will take place in Jack Nealon's tomorrow, Saturday 18th, from about 1pm. In addition to the usual general LEGO chat over lunch, while showing off the occasional MOC, this month we will have a presentation on a new website to be launched by LEGO next year.

Our regular monthly meetings resume later this month. We always finalise dates and times in the run-up to the scheduled meetings so please monitor the forums for updates.

Each person that 'signs up' has access to a limited number of forum threads initially. This is a spam prevention measure. In order to get full access to all threads it is necessary that people post at least one entry in the introductions thread giving a little bit of information as to where their interest in LEGO is etc.

Another reason why you may not be given full access is if your profile information is incomplete, for example no 'real' name or location (it doesn't have to be exact or an address) has been provided to the site admins.

This month's meeting of adult fans of LEGO takes place in Jack Nealon's pub, 165 Capel Street, Dublin 1, this Saturday the 15th October from 1pm.

It's an informal affair, so please pop along for a chat, or if you like, show off your latest LEGO creation. Later on, we'll probably wander around the corner to see what LEGO is on offer in the toy shops on Jervis Street.

Also coming up soon is the South Dublin Model Train Show, which takes place in Blackrock College on the bank holiday weekend (29th-31st Oct). A group of us have been putting together a LEGO train display, featuring David Fennel's amazing model of Heuston Station as its centrepiece, so please come along and see us, and let us know you're part of Brick.ie.
