Not 100% this belongs in this forum, but not sure where else to put it.
After visiting legoland in the UK during the summer myself and the kids decided to build a "LEGO Minifigure Wall" in the kitchen. The one in legoland had a Huge magnifying glass running along a track on the top of it, and magnifying the minifigs as it went left to right and back again.
Im wondering as im only back into lego recently, is there a track or something that could do the job of moving a magnifying glass left and right along the wall?
This is the display so far, grey base plates stuck to the wall, then covered with white plates and a border of white bricks then the minifigures added either on 2x3 plates or 1x2 bricks depending on the legs they have.
I just got the holiday train and now really want to do a train station to add to my winter village.
I saw a few online, my favourite has to be:

Trying to figure out what would be the best sets to cannibalise to make something similar to this.
My initial thoughts were the modular bank or fire brigade station. Maybe even Santa's workshop or the winter village toy.shop.
As you can see am struggling with where to start, any better ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Rob
I can't claim this model as my own work but I'm quite proud of it nonetheless. It's my daughter's first MOC and it's on its way to Skaerbaek tomorrow!
Built from her own design, the model features a rotating turntable and a "sound brick" to play the music.
Hi All! Here is my first "big moc".
It's an ice cream shop with apartment. Comments and (hopefully not much) criticism welcome!
Oh and apologies for photo quality. Done on my tablet so if you'd like a better image of something let me know
